There will be a “Ministries Fair” (Each department will set-up booth to display their ministries and someone will explain the serving detail at the booth) right after the Easter Worship on 4/4/2010 and a serving commitment/survey form will distribute to all members prior to it. We will also have a Special “Communication Session” open for all congregation right after the worship on 3/28/2010 (No Adult Sun. Sch.) to enhance our unity and love in this big family.
As ChiangMing mention at the worship, we need almost everyone in this church to serve at least one area. This will also create a sense of belonging to this church. we want to bring everyone from saying “their church to MY Church”. For all these to be happen, some ground work has to be done prior to it, your help to prove read and comments on the survey form and handbook is very important.
As I mention once in my sermon, the estimation I have for Chinese population in Plano, Allen, Frisco, McKinney, The Colony on 2008 is 18,000 people. Whereas the Chinese Church surrounding these areas added up to about 3,000 (16.67%) congregation the most. Where is the other 15,000 (83.33%) of people headed to…You know, everyone has eternal life, and everyone goes to same twoH’s, but one go to Eternal Life with our Heavenly God, the rest go to Eternal Condemnation, EternalHell. God call us out and put us on this community, we better do something. As Rick Warren dad’s say: “Save One More For Jesus.” May God give us that kind of burden and vision in our heart. God had been blessed us 10 years, but I am sure He can do great things through us if we say “YES” to Him. What is your respond????
